“Although the main focus was elephants, we spent a lot of time with giraffes on the dry lake. – On this occasion we saw 7 giraffes drinking at a water hole before making the 15km walk across the dry lake. We sat on the other side of the lake and watched them drink whilst the sun went down. It was an unforgettable few minutes watching this particular group of five standing together preparing for the journey ahead.”
