On Saturday 11th of November and Sunday 12th of November 2023 Kunsthuis Amsterdam welcomed one of the world’s most renowned photographers – David Yarrow – for the opening of his latest exhibition and the presentation of his newest book “Storytelling”.
In his latest book and exhibition “Storytelling”, Yarrow takes his work to the next level through tales of adventure and misadventure on an epic scale. This stunning retrospective of Yarrow’s storytelling work, has earned him even wider acclaim in the fine-art market. This assemblage of unmatched work brings the magic and brilliance of the big screen to still photography. Inspired by the great film directors, Yarrow tells his own cinematic stories – from the wide-open vistas of the American West to the beaches of the Caribbean, from the coasts of Alaska to the plains of Africa, and from the Sea of Cortez to an old saloon in Montana. Whether poignant, dramatic or provocative, the images always resonate deeply with their viewers.
With his exhibition – Storytelling – David Yarrow presents an exclusive collection of over 30 breathtaking photos from his recent body of work. As a tribute to his collaboration with De Kunsthuizen, David Yarrow has also selected 6 specially chosen photos to be released in a very limited edition of 6, each at a unique price.

David Yarrow’s photography transcends the boundaries of traditional art forms, blurring the lines between photography and storytelling. His book Storytelling features a mix of more than 130 never-before-published and already iconic photographs, including work from assignments with some of the biggest names and brands in fashion, sports, and culture, such as Cindy Crawford, Cara Delevingne, Russell Wilson, Ciara, Alessandra Ambrosio and Gary Player.
