Alberto Sanchez

The Spanish artist Alberto Sanchez is a photographer and multimedia artist. Sanchez has expanded the medium of photography by developing a unique manual coloring technique that allows him to create imagined dreamscapes from everyday moments. His use of stunning colors and textures results in a conceptual masquerade that ultimately guides us to an improbable landscape, inviting the viewer to participate and escape the struggles of modern life. Sanchez’s visual language leans toward the narrative yet remains grounded in what is actually captured by the camera lens, resulting in a hybrid reality of both physical and imagined worlds.
