Question 1

Do you also hang up artworks?

Accepted Answer

We do not hang the artworks for you. You must do this yourself. However, we are of course happy to advise and discuss it if you have any questions.

Question 2

Can I have rented artworks delivered, or do I have to pick them up?

Accepted Answer

Some artworks are too large to transport yourself. We will deliver and/or pick them up. We deliver for free in the Randstad area.

Question 3

Can I exchange the rented artwork for another artwork during the rental period?

Accepted Answer

Yes, that is possible. After the minimum rental period of 6 months, you are free to switch.

Question 4

How can I select an artwork for art rental?

Accepted Answer

That can of course be done online, but you make the best choice by visiting one or more of our Art Houses.

Question 5

How does savings worl?

Accepted Answer

You build up a savings balance through the rental/savings arrangement. To be clear: this is not an installment plan for the artwork you are renting. The savings balance is separate from the artwork you are renting and should be viewed as an amount with which you can purchase art from our collection. This *can* be the artwork you are renting, but it may also be any other work from our collection. The rental contract is not automatically terminated when the savings balance reaches the value of your artwork. Converting the rental arrangement into a purchase is an action that must be initiated by you.

Question 6

What can I use my savings for?

Accepted Answer

You can view the balance of your savings in the direct debit details. You can also, of course, call one of the Art Houses for this. Your savings can be used for: purchase of artworks within our collection purchase of objects / books and art gift cards within our collection Your savings cannot be used for: being paid out in cash being used for monthly rent payments

Question 7

Can I purchase rented artworks after the rental period? And if so, how does that work?

Accepted Answer

You can purchase the rented artwork at any time within your current rental contract. To do so, simply contact Kunsthuizen; this can be done by visiting, or by phone or email. If you have accumulated savings credit, this will be deducted from your purchase amount.
