Artist Andrew J. Millar (b. 1983) lives in East London and works with a combination of instant film, gold and silver leaf, and paint. Using a mix of techniques, he creates delicate and detailed collage-like pieces that present an intriguing blend of reality and fantasy. Millar exclusively uses a vintage Polaroid SX-70 camera, exploring the possibilities of analog instant film through manual manipulation. With his gold-leaf Polaroid collection, Millar has carved out a unique space within the art world. Andrew has held solo exhibitions in London, Paris, Vienna, Berlin, Barcelona, and New York, and has led workshops at "The Photographers' Gallery" in London.
