François Berthier
François Berthier studied at the Art Decos School in Paris. He initially worked as a graphic designer, but after a serious accident in 2003 and a lengthy recovery period, he began focusing (out of necessity) more on art and exhibiting his work. His graphic work is strongly influenced by his training and profession. His photo and painting collages are poetic images of patterns, dialogues, and double meanings, which viewers are free to interpret in their own way. In turn, this brings him a dual pleasure: the expression of his creativity and the opportunity to engage in interesting exchanges with his audience.
