Max Gasparini

Italie

Max Gasparini was born in Rovato (Brescia), Italy, in 1970. He trained as a fine artist and began his career as a restorer of masterpieces. His studies of classical paintings laid the foundation for his later independent work. In his figurative art, Gasparini plays with the beauty and purity of his models and the apparent transience he evokes through the materials and techniques he uses. His work reflects a wide range of emotions, with bold brushstrokes telling the almost poetic story of light and shadow, strength and vulnerability. The materials and techniques Gasparini employs create an intriguing spectacle for the viewer. The pure, contemporary manner in which he does this ensures that his work remains compelling, with interpretations that are both personal and ever-changing. Gasparini made his debut with independent works in 2010, and his art quickly gained attention in Italy, leading to requests for solo and group exhibitions at prominent galleries and fairs. In 2011, he expanded his reach internationally, exhibiting at fairs in the United States, England, and the Netherlands through representation by art houses.
