Pjotr Konkel
Pjotr Konkel is a versatile Polish-Dutch artist, born in 1963 in Poland as the youngest of seven children. He studied in the graphic arts department at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague, where he refined his unique vision and technique. "Return to Innocence" serves as the guiding principle of his work, reflecting his quest for purity and authenticity in the modern world. Konkel’s work resides at the intersection of abstraction and realism, where he subtly interweaves human emotions, architectural forms, and the interplay of light and shadow. His paintings and sculptures, characterized by bold color combinations and refined textures, create an atmosphere that is both inviting and challenging. Each piece tells a story, inviting viewers to look deeper and reconsider the meanings of forms and spaces. With exhibitions in various European cities, Konkel is steadily building his reputation as an artist who masterfully connects classical elements of visual art with a contemporary, introspective vision.
