Remy Sapuletej

Remy Sapuletej (1979) is a young Amsterdam-based street photographer. As an organizer of underground parties, he was immersed from an early age in the raw, creative lives of street and tattoo artists, rappers, designers, and graphic artists, all of whom inspired him. Remy lives his life through the lens of his camera, viewing the world around him with a unique perspective. His photography is characterized by a contemporary, fast-paced, and gritty style, capturing a sharp reflection of the world he documents with an exceptional eye for detail. Remy's unique style hasn’t gone unnoticed outside the underground scene either. His young talent has attracted notable international clients, including MTV, Elite, Red Bull, Tommy Hilfiger, and TMF, and he has photographed numerous international stars, such as Rihanna, Tom Cruise, and Olga Kurylenko, as well as Dutch icons like Yfke Sturm and Yolanthe Cabau van Kasbergen. In addition to his street, fashion, and commercial photography, Remy also pursues personal projects. In 2012, he publicly presented his art photography for the first time. His rugged, raw aesthetic merges uniquely with serene art photography, creating a restrained, quiet power. This contrast between fused worlds brings out a striking raw edge, a signature mark of Remy Sapuletej’s work.
