Richard Orlinski
Richard Orlinski's monochrome, diamond-cut sculptures of animals and cultural icons have earned the artist worldwide recognition. Inspired by pop artists such as Jeff Koons, Takashi Murakami, and Robert Indiana, Orlinski uses industrial materials like resin and aluminum to create brightly colored and glossy depictions of bears, panthers, and his signature figure, King Kong. His overarching artistic theme, "Born Wild," emphasizes the duality between animal and human nature within all of us, illustrating how humanity can transform its wildest instincts into something refined. A former architect and interior designer, Orlinski has exhibited his works in prestigious galleries and events such as Art Basel, FIAC, Art Élysées, and the Palace of Versailles, as well as in outdoor spaces like the French Alps in 2018, where skiers could glide past his giant animals. Since 2015, Orlinski has been recognized as one of the most successful French contemporary artists worldwide.
