Silvia Strobos

Silvia Strobos (Dutch, based in Switzerland since 1998) studied at the Higher School for Design and Communication and earned a Master’s degree in History of Arts and Science at Erasmus University Rotterdam. In Switzerland, she refined her artistic practice through years of intensive training and studio work, shaping her distinctive and layered visual language. An important theme is flowers; she explores ways to visualize them in a non-conventional manner. In doing so she aims to capture their essence through color and form. Reduced to circles and given an additional dimension through 3D circular shapes, these wall sculptures create a kaleidoscopic effect. Since 2012, her work has been exhibited internationally at fairs and galleries. Her art brings a refined, human touch to interiors and continues to engage the viewer.
