Tony Soulié
Tony Soulié (1955) was born in Paris, a French artist with international renown. After a period of abstract painting, he began using a combined technique of photography and painting, with each technique complementing the other. The artist often works around a theme, as in his exhibition in Antwerp on the theme “Harbor,” in New York on “Buildings,” and his “Geishas” series inspired by his travels through Japan and China. Tony Soulié's work can be found in, among others, the Museum of Modern Art in Paris, the Belfort Museum in France, and the Museum of Chateauroux, France. His exhibitions have been held in Tokyo, Paris, Seoul, and New York, with presentations at art fairs such as FIAC Paris, Art Stockholm, ARCO Madrid, KunstRAI 2002, and various Dutch fairs by De Kunsthuizen.
