Affordable Art Fair 2026

Affordable Art Fair Amsterdam 2026: A Celebration of Art and Inspiration

Once again, Kunsthuizen is delighted to be part of the Affordable Art Fair Amsterdam. You’ll find us at stand A5, where we’ll be presenting a diverse selection of artworks by artists from our collection.

For us, art fairs are always special occasions. Not only because they bring us together with people who share our passion for art, but also because they offer the perfect opportunity to discover something new. In just one visit, you can explore works by a wide range of artists, galleries and artistic styles. It’s precisely this diversity that makes an art fair so inspiring.

Experiencing Art in Person

Today, we can explore an incredible amount of art online, but seeing an artwork in person is an entirely different experience. Scale, materials, textures and colours truly come to life when you stand in front of a piece. Especially with paintings, photography and sculptures, subtle details and layers can be difficult to fully appreciate through a screen.

An art fair also gives you the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the stories behind the artists and their work. That personal connection often makes the experience even more meaningful.

Explore, Compare and Discover

An art fair invites you to wander and explore. You might arrive with a particular style in mind, only to find yourself drawn to an artwork you would never normally have considered. You encounter different techniques side by side, discover new artists and sometimes realise, simply by comparing works, which pieces truly stay with you.

That’s also what makes an art fair so interesting when you’re not quite sure what you’re looking for. Art doesn’t always need to be explained or understood straight away. Sometimes, the most enjoyable part is discovering what catches your eye, which colours, shapes or materials appeal to you, and why one artwork holds your attention longer than another.

Inspiration for Your Home

Even if you’re not actively looking for a new artwork, a visit to the Affordable Art Fair can offer plenty of inspiration. Seeing different presentations side by side can spark ideas about colour combinations, how to display artworks together, different sizes and the way art can transform a space.

And who knows? You might unexpectedly come across a piece you find yourself returning to again and again. Those are often the most memorable discoveries.

Discover Our Artists

For the Affordable Art Fair Amsterdam 2026, Kunsthuizen is bringing together a diverse selection of artists. From colourful paintings to refined photography and distinctive sculptures, each artwork has its own character. This year, we’re highlighting three artists who each explore form, colour and materials in their own unique way.

Carry Doorn: Exploring Light and Transparency

Carry Doorn creates three-dimensional sculptures and installations in which transparency, light and movement come together. Working with materials such as metal mesh and tulle, she creates layered forms that reveal something different from every angle. Her work is both subtle and expressive, with the interaction between space and material playing an essential role.

Silvia Strobos: Colour and Form in Motion

Silvia Strobos transforms the beauty of flowers into colourful, abstract compositions. Through circular elements and layered patterns, she creates works reminiscent of a kaleidoscope. Her art invites you to take a closer look, revealing new details, colours and shapes the longer you observe.

Selwyn Senatori: A Personal Universe Built in Layers

In his new My Universe works, Selwyn Senatori combines painting and mixed media to create vibrant, richly layered compositions. Text, symbols, imagery and different materials come together in a personal visual language, with memories, travel, music and the good life at its heart.

Each artwork feels like a universe of its own, filled with details, energy and stories that gradually reveal themselves the longer you look.
