From February 8 to March 2, 2025, Kunsthuis Amsterdam celebrated love with the Love Exhibition. This special exhibition brought together a diverse selection of contemporary artworks by national and international artists, including Selwyn Senatori, Paco Raphael, Jörg Döring, Damien Hirst, KAWS, and David Yarrow.

During the festive opening weekend on February 8 and 9, we presented the tenth edition of our annual Valentine Specials. What began ten years ago as a unique Valentine's Day surprise for our clients has grown into a much-loved tradition featuring exclusive artworks and limited-edition collector's items.

To celebrate this special anniversary, three artists created unique Valentine Specials in limited editions.

Exclusive Valentine Specials

Paco Raphael – Mini Bambi

Amsterdam-based artist Paco Raphael presented ten unique versions of his iconic Mini Bambi sculpture. While these sculptures are usually produced in a single colour, each Valentine's edition featured its own distinctive appearance, making every piece truly one of a kind.

Jörg Döring – Crazy Little Valentine

Internationally renowned artist Jörg Döring, known for his distinctive combination of street art, pop art, and urban culture, created three small canvas artworks finished with an epoxy coating. These exclusive pieces were inspired by his recognisable Crazy Little Things series.

Selwyn Senatori – Love Soldiers

Selwyn Senatori presented his distinctive Love Soldiers, sculptures that symbolise a universal message of love. These limited editions were a special addition to the Valentine Specials collection.

Meet & Greet with the Artists

On Sunday, February 9, 2025, Jörg Döring, Selwyn Senatori, and Paco Raphael were personally present at Kunsthuis Amsterdam. During this special meet & greet, visitors had the opportunity to meet the artists and have their purchased Valentine Specials personally customised.

The Love Exhibition brought together contemporary paintings, sculptures, and exclusive art editions, with love and connection at the heart of the exhibition.

The exhibition was on view at Kunsthuis Amsterdam from February 8 through March 2, 2025.
