Social Sunday - Mart Visser X Kunsthuizen

On Friday, October 12, 2018, Mart Visser opened the first of three simultaneous solo exhibitions under the title Mart Visser 3.0 at Kunsthuis Amsterdam. Festive openings in Leiden and Breda followed over the next two days.

Best known to the general public for his couture, Visser revealed another side of his creativity through an impressive selection of paintings, sculptures and installations. Monumental faces, heavily rusted objects and delicate installations came together to offer a fascinating insight into his artistic development.

Each gallery presented a unique exhibition, carefully curated to complement the atmosphere and character of its location. The result was three distinct exhibitions, each offering a different perspective on Visser's artistic vision.

During the opening weekend, from October 12 to 14, visitors in Amsterdam, Leiden and Breda had the opportunity to meet the artist in person and experience his work up close.
