Would you like to borrow art as a private individual?
Art rental for private individuals is a concept that allows you to bring art into your home with an accessible approach. You rent the artwork or artworks for as long as you wish and pay a small percentage of rent. If, after some time, you are ready for different work in your home, you can easily exchange it for other art. You can choose from a large, varied, and changing collection of more than 2,500 artworks. The Netherlands' largest contemporary art collection is within everyone's reach.
1. Choose your art
Make a selection of the work you wish to have at home on our website or during your visit to one of our Art Houses. Via our website, this can easily be done by clicking the “I am interested” button next to the relevant artwork and then selecting the option “I am interested in renting this work”.
2. On-site appointment
As soon as you have expressed interest, we will check if these artworks are still available. If so, we will contact you to schedule an appointment so that you can come and view your selection at one of our Art Houses.
3. Free trial
If you have decided to bring these artworks into your home, we offer you the opportunity to take the art home on a trial basis for up to one week free of charge. After this trial period, you can make a final decision.
Your decision
Once you are convinced by the artworks and the rental arrangement, we will finalize this in person. This can take place either by telephone or face-to-face at one of our Art Houses.
